Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how One Less Drink ("OLD", "we", "us") handles information when you use our iOS application.

Information We Collect

Data you enter: drink counts, habit details (drinks per session, cost per drink, frequency), plan settings, and goals. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Anonymous analytics: we collect anonymous usage events (screens viewed, features used, paywall interactions) via PostHog to improve the app. This data is tied to a randomly generated device identifier, not to your identity. No names, emails, or contact information are collected.

Purchase data: when you subscribe, Apple processes the transaction. RevenueCat manages subscription state on our behalf and receives a pseudonymous user ID, subscription status, and product identifiers. We do not receive your payment information.

Crash and error data: Sentry collects anonymized crash reports and error logs to help us fix bugs. No personal information is included.

How We Use Information

We use the information to operate the app, process subscriptions, understand how the app is used, and fix problems. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Third Parties

We share limited data with the following service providers:

Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored locally on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app. Anonymous analytics events are retained according to PostHog's default retention. You can opt out of analytics at any time in the app's Settings screen.

Children's Privacy

OLD is rated 17+ and is not directed to children under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes.
